12 days postpartum bleeding

Hi all,

I have a question, how much bleeding is too much? I initially hemorrhaged after birth but they stopped it, I was down to wearing normal pads yesterday and today it seems to have picked up again, and I'm back to wearing disposable underwear. No clots. But heavier red bleeding.. the public health nurse said if it isnt filling a pad a hour then its normal, but everywhere I read says that by 12 days it should be light or spotting by now... I'm trying not to worry but it's been 6 years since my last baby and I dont remember if my bleeding came on and went the way it is... I wanna avoid going to our labor and delivery if I dont need to.. and dont wanna seem like a hypochondriac..
