okay sooo my boyfriend and i have been getting a little bit sexual recently and we’ve been dating for around 9 months now and he’s ready to jump into actually having sex and i don’t know if i am yet because him and i were hanging out and he asked to do it and because i was so nervous i lied and said i was on my period... anyone have advice for calming down my nerves about this😭🙏

My advice? Don’t have sex unless you are 110% ready and comfortable. 🤷‍♀️ it isn’t about him being ready. Both of you need to be ready. You need to be ready to be safe and accept the consequences of having sex both physically and mentally.

Don’t have sex until you’re ready. Have you guys discussed condoms or you getting on birth control? Until you have a plan that prevents pregnancy, you should not have sex, especially if it’s in the heat of the moment.
