No more periods skyla?

Has anyone experienced no periods with the skyla IUD? If so, how long did it take for it for stop?

I’ve had the skyla for almost 5 years (this is my second). I skill get periods but they’re super duper light. What I started doing is buying black cotton underwear and just wearing those when I have my period. They’re so light that I don’t even need a panty liner, but it took probably a year for that to happen. I’ve gone a couple months without a period too, so it just depends. Skyla isn’t really known for stopping periods because the hormones are really low, but it can happen to some girls. I’ve really enjoyed mine and will probably continue getting them until I want kids.

I’ve had periods that lasted two weeks i got it taken out after three months. Now I’m on the pill and my periods are pretty light.
