After giving birth I had it stuck in my head for days even though I hadnt heard it in years. Knew it was meant to be our song. I sing it to my son every night before bed

His bedtime song is “Lady of Shallot”, originally a poem but Loreena McKennitt has a song rendition of it. There is no bedtime at mumma’s house without the song. 
 
And then I made up a song for him:

He loves his song, he sings it with me and I’m never allowed to sing it just once 🥰

Your song by Elton John , Edelweiss because that song is just beautiful and my mum used to sing it to me. My grandparents where from Austria originally then to South Africa to escape during the war.

My younger daughter and I sing all the time together..my oldest isn't about that life lol and my youngest is 9 months. But my younger daughter & I do have a few songs, they are super random 😂..mister sandman, 3 little kittens & the healing song from tangled. We used to sing the last one as I brushed her long hair, it was cute :)

The song that makes me think of my son is “sweet disposition”. By Temper Trap.
It came out around the time he was born and I would have mtv on low while feeding him in the middle of the night. I watched the music video almost every night.
The song that makes me think of my daughter is “sweater weather” by The Neighborhood”
I would sing it to her to our her to sleep. She loved it.
