Can I have sex already??

I’m 5 weeks 3 days postpartum from a vaginal delivery. My doctor says no sex until 6 weeks. But I’m dying to have sex tonight... I feel great and bleeding has 99% stopped. I may see a tint of red when I wipe  from time to time, but other than that no bleeding. Has anyone else had sex this close to 6 weeks before seeing doctor?
Edit: he also said no baths for 6 weeks but I think I should be ok to take a bath today right?? Goodness this pregnancy/postpartum never ends!! Haha I just want sex and to take a bath.

Honestly you’re so so close, I’d just wait! Would everything be fine? More than likely. But if you’re planning on having anymore babies you should make sure not to take an unnecessary risk if everything isn’t quite 100% yet.

I had sex at 3 weeks and my bleeding 100% stopped. She’s now a month 🤷🏾‍♀️

My doctor cleared me at 3 weeks with the understanding that I could only have sex if the bleeding had completely stopped and I had started my birth control.

I’m only three weeks postpartum but I’ve been wondering myself how I will know since I won’t get a six week check up because of the virus situation. ￼

my doctor says there has to be absolutely no blood for 2 whole day’s even if you are 6 weeks
