Cm right after ovulation

Hi ladies! Looking for some input. I'm pretty sure I either ovulated yesterday or last night, I can't say for sure as I'm really new at the opk testing...so instead I followed my cm. I'm pretty comfortable with my body and although it's our first month ttc #2 I've always been aware of my cm changes. EXCEPT!! I never really tracked ovulation this closely! I had my most fertile cm a few days ago (I assume I ovulated) and now nothing?! My cm is so dry almost like right after af...is this typical?
