My bf has never gone down on me

We’ve been dating for about 7 months now and he’s the first partner I’ve ever had who hasn’t gone down on me. I have never brought it up because I was trying to figure out if there was something wrong with me or he just doesn’t like to do it. Finally last night after we had sex I ask why he had never gone down on me and he still didn’t give me a reason but said he would start (which is great news for me🤪). I wish I would’ve asked sooner lol I don’t know why it was so hard for me to ask him but it was. Has anyone had similar experiences with their partner?
