Our sonographer gave us a guess on what she thought the sex might be based on the nub theory. She guessed girl and at the 20 week scanned we found out she was right!

Not unless you get the NIPT, that's different from the first trimester screen. 
NIPT gives you gender,  other first trimester testing does not.
Both test for trisomy 13, trisomy 18 trisomy 21.
NIPT also test for more genetic disorders such as Turners syndrome
