Line progression in pregnancy tests

Hi ladies, I need some advice and maybe even some encouraging stories.

So I started spotting around the time af normally shows. As I always spot 1-2 days before af I thought for sure af was going to come. But then the spotting decreased which had never happened before so I took a test - positive !

I called my doctor, she says she can’t do anything for me right now we just have to be patient and see if the spotting gets worse.

I want to test to see if my pregnancy tests gets darker - how often should I do that ? Everyday ? And if they do can I rule out a chemical ?
