Pubic hair (vaginal)

Hi y’all I’ve been talking to a guy for a little over a month, we have been going out during this crazy time and enjoying each other company. We haven’t been physical at all just kisses(pecks), holding hands and hugs. He travels for work and has asked for nudes but he just told me the other day to let me pubic hair grow out 🥴 I’ve never liked hair period and idk if I would like that. I’ve never had a guy ask me to grow it out. I mean I wouldn’t mind it but like what’s the maintenance for that? How would wear that in a thing? Like what’s are the expectations to having pubic hair?
