PARAGARD IUD

I haven’t had birth control in almost 10 years, I have 2 kids now (2.5 years old, 10 months old) and it’s finally time because I just suffered a miscarriage and it really hurt me, now I don’t want any more babies, not any time soon at least.. I have severe anxiety, and panic disorder. Hormonal birth controls messed me up bad and so I quit everything! Condoms worked for my husband and I just fine, but now, I want something long term and cost effective. I had the paragard IUD put in today at my follow up appointment (to make sure I passed all the tissue from the miscarriage) and I am starting to freak out about it because it’s already in there. If you have or have had this type of birth control and had a positive experience, can I please hear it? Thank you in advance..
