For those who went through labor

Victoria

I just entered my second trimester and my husband is over the moon to meet our baby girl. I’m excited too, but I have always feared labor to the point I was relieved when I found out I was infertile, assuming we’d adopt like I’d always dreamed. After a year of thinking I was infertile due to pcos, I found out I was pregnant. My husband was super excited and always wanted a child of his own but swore we would adopt in the future (we’ll see).

Long story short, I am having doubts about my own body and it’s ability to go through labor. I know women’s bodies are literally made for this, but I have feared childbirth for as long as I knew what it was. I know the some of you reading this are probably thinking “well why get pregnant to begin with” but I’m already in this situation and I just need help changing my mindset. I feel like everything I read is just fear mongering. Like I know it’s far from easy, but I want to feel confident and not fear the inevitable if that makes sense.
