Hello! Just a little background about me: Im catholic but I’m anchoring more on my faith than religious practices. I’m also pro loving one’s self and body and I have nothing against anyone else’s beliefs. I think that it doesn’t matter what your religion is for as long as you don’t disrespect anyone or cause harm to them or yourself.

I’m here because I’m kind of torn between my faith and giving myself physical pleasure (i.e masturbation). The bible says that our body is the temple of the holy spirit and this is the thought that’s anchored by most Christian blogs or sites that I read which are against masturbation. But I’m also thinking that masturbation is form of self love. These make me either try, with so much effort, not to masturbate or feel guilty after i masturbate.

I would like to hear your thoughts. Not to force myself to believe in anything but I want to enlighten myself from things I may be missing out. What do you practice for yourself? And oh, if you’re not Christian, i want to know what your thoughts are too! What do you believe in?
