I’m soo tired of cooking a month and a half every day cooking at least 2 full meals for my family and honestly I’m craving a cheesesteak sooo bad but I’m terrified because of this virus ... btw I can’t believe I’ve made it this far cuz before I would order at least 1 a week

We’ve used DoorDash a few times and ordered from restaurants and went and picked it up.
A lot of doordash runners will just drop it off at your door and leave.
It’s actually really nice hhaha 🤣🤣

I feel the exact same way. I'm not so much worried about the delivery person because I know they can just leave it on your step, but what about the people who are breathing on and touching the food when preparing and cooking it? I'm so torn 😭

Dont let the fear stop you from enjoying some semblance of life. What we are "living" right now isn't life at all....its a wierd hybrid of breathing and anxiety mixed together. 
Look to the science for comfort. The risk of contracting the virus statistically is VERY low especially at this point in time and there is no evidence that suggest a person can be infected by food at all.
Order away. Live your life.

We still order out! It’s no different than getting your groceries and preparing your food at home. 🤷🏼‍♀️ it could literally be on anything. Try not to worry so much and take a break and order out occasionally:)

I’m still ordering and my husband has picked up food from restaurants on the way home from work. But we also live in a small town in a rural area so there are hardly any cases in our county so we aren’t that worried.

I felt the same, but we’ve ordered 3 times. When we get home I take everyone out of the packaging and put it on our plates. We have only gotten hot food so I can microwave it again to kill any germs. Then I toss the packaging, sanitize the counter, and then wash my hands.
