Blood Sugar Levels

Hi,

I’ve had pretty good blood sugar levels since I was diagnosed a month ago and I’ve kept all my levels below 7mmol/l (I test four times a day).

However, I just tested an hour after I started lunch and it was 7.1 which is above all my other readings. Then I left it probably about 5 minutes and it had dropped to 5.1.

Is this right or could there be another issue? Could I have just tested too soon or would it have been an inaccurate reading?
