Can't Make My Baby Feel Better💔

My son recently had an incident with my baby's daddy's now ex girlfriend's 19 year old son. My son is 14 and when he was napping her 19 year old and 16 year old cut his hair off. I am looking into pressings charges. My son's hair was down to his back! Now it's super short. He won't come out of his room. I keep trying to tell him he isn't his hair, but he's been crying about it and my heart hurts. He keeps saying how he took care of it and worked so hard to grow it out... I don't know how to make my baby feel better. I want those bastards to pay for making my son feel this way! He keeps saying he was already ugly and now looks worse.... IDK what to do to make him happy. I told him it will grow back, but it will take time....
