Period after pregnancy

I am 7 weeks postpartum I woke up this morning to what I think is my period how I didn't miss it at all, I have my 6 week postpartum check tomorrow and now I'm freaking out what should I do? Call them in am and cancel or still go? I really want to go and get it over with but idk if they can do exam with my period here ugh help!
