Should i move in with my boyfriend now or later?

So we are expecting a baby and we both live in our own parents house.. with everything going on covid 19,   I dont know if we can move into an apartment right now? My mom told me that I should stay here til after i give birth which is in September because she wants me and baby safe and then maybe move with my boyfriend but my boyfriend wants to move in now so idk what to do .

Itd be harder to move after the baby is born, especially if this covid situation isnt any better. If you still see your boyfriend regularly then moving in wouldnt cause any more harm

Moving with a newborn would be stressful, moving in the current situation would be stressful. I think it’s a decision you and your boyfriend need to discuss. He will likely want to be there for his baby’s early days. Is him moving in where you are now an option? Or do you guys want your own space as a family of 3?

My boyfriend and I moved out into our own place when my daughter was 7 weeks old.  My lovely but poor boyfriend and some family members did most of the work rather than me because going back and forth with a newborn is rough just so you know.  We survived but I would of rather moved before she was here or at least when she was maybe 3 months and we were more comfortable lol

A lot of places aren’t allowing people to view units before move in. So if you do decide to move make sure you get enough pictures and video of the place you’ll be renting.
