Is your baby sleeping in their own crib in their own room?

In her crib in her room for naps. She sleeps with us at night

I wanted her to stay in our room until she was around 9 months old but my husband had to move to the guest room because he’s a super loud sleeper and kept waking the baby. It was making me really sad to be alone in our room so I decided to move baby to her own room last week. She sleeps better and now I get my husband back sleeping with me which makes me feel way better throughout the day. I was super emotional the first night I moved her to her room, so much so that I was reconsidered bringing her back but I’m glad I ended up putting her in her own room. I wake up every hour subconsciously to check the baby monitor to make sure she’s breathing and well.

My baby is 4 days older than yours and he has been in his crib in his own room for about 6 weeks now. He is a light sleeper (as am I) and has slept so much better since we moved him to his own room. He happened to roll back to tummy on day two of transition to his room during the day so we also had to stop swaddling during the transition. It was a rough couple of nights without the swaddle but is now really good at self soothing.

In our room, I'm holding off as long as I can because shes eventually going to be sharing a room with our son but hes not ready for that yet (hes 3.5)

Kind of - she mostly sleeps in her crib, but it's not fully in another room, our upstairs is like a, uhhh, master suite, I guess? The crib is probably about 15 feet from the bed. I think we both sleep better with a little distance, but she's still close enough for be to feel comfortable with it. The Nanit breathing bands also make me feel more safe!
