Bawling

La

My husband has had me crying my eyes out for an hr. And not in a good way. So I had a horrible day at work, and came home to my husband asking if I could watch our 20 month old and the neighbor’s 3 yr old while they put my neighbor’s Chicken coop together. No problem. I honestly didn’t mind.

I watched them for an hr, and my husband asked the neighbor and her child to stay for dinner without forewarning me. No biggie. So I start cooking dinner, the neighbor’s three year old hurts herself on my son’s toy box and mayhem ensues. So, in the middle of cooking dinner, I’m trying to get hot dogs ready for my son, and find neosporin and Bandaids for my neighbor’s child while my husband sits there drinking and watching the whole Thing.

That gets taken care of, and since we can’t find neosporin he points pointedly at me like a child, says “we’ll have a first aid kit tomorrow and it WILL stay under the bathroom cabinet” then I proceed to cook dinner and my husband basically picks apart everything I’m doing “wrong” while fixing dinner. Then when I get done he talks about tomatoes being gross and picks them off his meal.

Then, while I’m trying to get everyone their forks, my son wants Mac and cheese. I heat it up, put it in the microwave, then in the freezer to cool it off. I tested it but apparently it was still too hot and burns my son’s tongue. My husband gave me the biggest eat shit look, and snatches him out of the high chair.

Y’all, I had to leave the room because I was tearing up. My husband is constantly blaming me if our son gets hurt, says cooking, cleaning, etc is my job—even though I work 40 hrs/week. He didn’t understand why I was upset and told me I was being dramatic. I just feel like straight garbage right now
