Anyone else gag when they brush their teeth?

I cannot brush my teeth without gagging. Not even just my tongue. The whole time. The moment it enters my mouth, I gag. I gag the entire time I brush my teeth over and over and my husband will probably disown me soon. It’s so gross, I’ve vomited many times while brushing my teeth. I’m halfway through my second trimester and still have this issue 😩

I never had too much of a problem but my mom said it was terrible when she was pregnant with me. For her it was the toothpaste that was bothering her so she used baking soda on her toothbrush and that worked for her!

Yes. Brushing my teeth in first trimester was extremely difficult and I couldn’t brush my tongue at all 🤢
If I gagged it would immediately bring on morning sickness and I’d throw up and then have to start all over. 
That sensitivity went away during second trimester tho.

Mannnn, I had it so bad the first and most of my second trimester. It finally eased up. I know I threw up a few times while brushing my teeth. That's the only time I would throw up too. It was horrible, omg🙈 I feel a lot better now and I'm in my third trimester.
