Baby movement question

So, I have a question. I had a telephone appointment today with my midwife and she asked if I had been counting the baby kicks and so on to which I said yes. My baby is active ALL day so I really haven’t been counting the kicks as she moves literally the whole day. Anyway, I received notes they provide after the appointments and it noted on there that at this point in the pregnancy the baby should kick more than do turns and such, but I honestly feel my baby adjusting herself more than I actually feel kicks. Is this normal? Should I be worried that she doesn’t actually KICK so often? The midwife didn’t mention this to me, it was just on the information they provide for the weeks that you are. Currently 31 weeks.
