Face rash

Has anyone had experience with a rash that comes up just around the mouth and cheek? I’ve asked the pediatrician about it and she said it doesn’t look like it could be a food allergy because it only shows in the one place and said it could be environmental.... not really sure what that means. It’s been coming and going since end of January and I just feel bad it keeps coming back. Any one else have experience? I may call the pediatrician back since using cortisone cream and aquaphor isn’t really making it go away and see a different doctor for a second opinion. Not sure if it’s from the pacifier either. I’ve been making sure to boil them often to clean but I’m just at a loss.

This is when it’s at it’s worst. And it’s only like this for 1-2 days max.
