What do you do with pictures /other memorabilia from past relationships? (explanation below)

Question

Say you were with someone for a really long time and made great memories. You broke up because of bad circumstances, but are still on friendly terms with that person... 
Do you:
a) dispose of everything you have that reminds you of times with them, 
b) throw out just the "romantic" stuff (pictures of you kissing, hugging etc), keep other
c) keep everything, but hide it somewhere
... or something else?

I have a box of a few select mementos. Letters he sent from Afghanistan, a few pictures, some jewelry he bought me in Afghanistan. I also have random non-romantic stuff he got me like records and books just around the house. That relationship is a part of my history and part of what made me who I am. We didn’t break up on bad terms, and there’s no lingering feelings or anything. We broke up almost 7 years ago now. I met my SO about 6 months after the breakup and we’ve been together ever since. My SO knows all about my past relationship. He knows I had a life before him and that it doesn’t detract from the life I’ve made with him.
The one thing I definitely did throw out was any lingerie I had bought while I was with my ex. Using the stuff I bought for my ex and my’s anniversary with my SO would just feel gross 😂

I mean it depends if there is a kid involved I would keep the photos in a box because some day the kid would like to see them ,me personally toxic or not I didn't keep anything from my ex I deleted everything I thru out everything I didn't see a reason for keeping stuff of my past

I keep stuff but i don’t hide it. I don’t really have very many physical items from past relationships, but I never go back and delete pics of me with exes on social media. I don’t see the point. My favorite stuffed animal (it’s a huge narwhal) was a present from an ex. No way I’m getting rid of it

Based off of that, I would definitely keep everything. 
If it was a terrible, toxic/abusive relationship, I would be throwing everything away.

I only really have my prom photos with him. That's it.

Since I have a child with my ex, I keep all photos of us 3 or him and her (because they are adorable together) but my ex and I are on good terms. Plus one day our daughter may want those photos.

Honestly I keep all gifts (except romantic jewelry) because I just like stuff I guess. I have a scarf I still use from an ex and one of my favorite stuffed animals, but I don’t really attach those things to the people I guess. I keep old pictures on my Facebook photo albums, but I never had physical copies of those anyway.
