36 weeks currently in L&D

I had my drs apt today and apparently my cervix is short... last night I was having period cramps and woke up this morning with period cramps still but they weren’t too bad and my dr sent to me L & D to get monitor if I’m having any contractions they also gave me a shot for baby’s lungs to develop just incase he comes early... Im actually leaving labor and delivery but hopefully baby stays in there for a least another week!! He weighs 5lbs and 13 oz right now he’s still so small.
