Should i ask this?

My bf has told me he loves me. We started dating a few months ago. He’s been playing a lot of video games and little different towards me. He isn’t really as romantic over text but is perfect in person. I’m concerned that he only views our relationship as physical. I want to ask him a question on where he sees this relationship going but like i don’t wanna be forward like that like i’m not like hinting at marriage or anything, i just want to know if he thinks of me as serious or just sex. What’s a good question that i could ask about the future? I know some will say just ask straight up but i kinda just wanna ask it very generally... such as “What do you want from our relationship?” or something of that sort.... can anyone think of something a little more subtle???
