My man always finishes early

Hello! My man always finishes very early he only last 2-4 minutes even shorter sometimes which might be PE. I’m wondering if there’s anything we can try to fix this. He was looking into “Roman swipes” you apply it to the sensitive spots, basically numbs the penis. I don’t want him to numb his penis though and I’m not even sure if it’s safe to use. Does anyone have opinions, suggestions, and advice that could help us.
