Pregnant nurse working on a Covid ward!

Ciara

Hey,

So I just found out I'm pregnant.

I am only 4 weeks along. This is my 3rd pregnancy. The other two ended in early miscarriage at 5/6 weeks.

However I work as a nurse. A few weeks ago I was pulled from my usual ward to work on a Covid 19 ward. We have enough PPE but I'm still worried. There is a chance I could just be moved from the ward I am currently in back to my usual ward due to the pregancy.

I'm wondering if I should say it to my boss or wait a few weeks and then said it?

I told my old manager straight away last time as it was flu season and eneded up losing the baby a week later.

I'm just confused about what to do.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!
