Second trimester-right timing for AFP test is 15 or 16 weeks?
Hi, I got back good results for AFP test at 15 weeks but now I am wondering what is more appropriate time for this test, 15 or 16 weeks?
Last year, I gave the test at 16 weeks and was positive and it was a case of fetal anencephaly so I cannot help but feel suspicious. Online info suggests that 16 weeks is ideal.
Is it common to have AFP testing done at 15 weeks?
