Anyone else's babe love solids already?

I didn't expect to introduce them before 6 months but she seemed soo hungry at night. My first wasn't interested in solids until 7 months or later. She loooves them. Sweet potatoes, banana, and avocado so far. I make them myself and mix with breast milk.

My boy has been getting purée foods since 3 months & loves everything that goes in his mouth but his fav has to be pears!

Forgot to post with my other comment, here's my son after his first ever meal, he had kale all over himself! He barely gets messy at all now because he eats it all!!

Yep ours has had carrots, avocado, sweet potato, porridge and a very small bit of banana so far. She is staring at all our food every time we eat- bless her heart

Yes! My first was (and still isn't) a big eater, but my baby LOVES it. We got a box from Yumi because I had a promo code that got me 8 jars of fresh, organic purée for $3 and my son is all about it! I had a feeling he might be, since he seemed interested in us eating. He's been chubbier than my daughter since he was born and it looks like that's just going to keep up! So far he's had kale, japanese sweet potato, dragonfruit, apple, pear, carrot, butternut squash, and black beans from Yumi, and he's loved all of it. It's so much fun having a baby who likes to eat! I'm a tiny bit worried that he'll breast feed less with eating so much food, but we always nurse before giving solids so, not sure what more I can do to avoid that. He seems to like eating food more than he likes breastfeeding so.. idk. I'm going to breast feed until at least a year if it's the last thing I do lol!

We started at 5mo and my daughter wasn’t a huge fan of the purées unless she could feed herself. But she is obsessed with oatmeal. She literally shoves the spoon in her mouth and if I’m feeding her, she will grab my hands and pull them to her mouth to eat. It’s hilarious.

Yes my almost 6m old (on the 11th) got the ok from dr to try at 5 months. My girl goes crazy when we’re eating! I feel so bad
