Daycare or grandma to babysit ??

So my mom watches my daughter who is 19 months. But the problem is my mom has no boundaries with anyone and does not have “ no” in her vocabulary! I finally got my baby out of rocking and nursing to bed . She was falling asleep by laying down. I told my mom this is what we need to do and be consistent ... she tells me she does and then I find out she’s been rocking her still. She’s Always always hiding the truth about everything and I find out. So now my daughter is having issues falling asleep because there is no consistency! But the worst part is my mom lies about it !!!! So many more examples but I’ll stick with that. They say the grass isn’t greener on the other side but want to hear other people’s experience.

I am an RN and work 12.5 hours single mom. I finally got my daughter to fall asleep and through the night around 15 months or so. I’m tired as hell. My daughter is a good listener and learns fast but with inconsistencies it’s just making it harder on me !! I’m the only parent and I don’t get a break between work and parenting.

Thoughts ?

If your baby is in daycare how do you like it ? And how did you pick one ?
