Measuring big?

I’m so confused because my last ultrasound (20 weeks) and last appointment last month baby and my stomach was measuring right on track. A couple days ago at my 28 week appointment I was told my stomach was measuring 32 weeks now. 😩 I have an ultrasound now to measure baby when I’m actually 32 weeks. My daughter was 9 pounds 2 oz so it’s definitely a chance baby is just gonna be big anyone else measure big but baby wasn’t? I was hoping for a smaller baby this time around! Lol I also was negative for any gd.

Fundal height isn't purely based off weight of the baby. It is also based on position of the baby and the amount of amniotic fluid you have. It's important to measure fundal height because the amount of fluid you have and the size of baby can be indicators of health (which is why when it's too big or too small they do a scan to figure out why).

My fundal height was measuring 32 weeks at 27+5 so my doctor scheduled me for an ultrasound at 30+5 to check it out. Everything was completely normal fluid wise and baby girl was measuring at exactly 50% so not huge! My doctor thinks it was her positioning because she tends to sit towards the very front!

With my second pregnancy at my 27 week checkup I was measuring 32 weeks my doctor had me do an ultrasound and I had polyhydraminos which means extra amniotic fluid. I had to have NST 2x a week followed by an ultrasound to measure my fluid till I gave birth. With having polyhydraminos my doctor said most times your baby will be on the bigger side and he sure was. This time around I’ve been measuring right on track so praying it stays this way can’t have another big baby again.

A different OB measured me yesterday and thinks the baby is measuring a little bit small, maybe a week or two behind. I have a growth US scheduled for Friday at 30+1 to check it out. I am low in iron, levels at 18 which Google says can have something to do with growth? 
I guess we will see what happens!
