Should I change a poop diaper while my 10 month old baby is sleeping?

It’s 5am and I’m afraid his gonna get a rash. I’m gonna give him a bath as soon as he wakes up. He usually wakes up at 9am.

Yes change it!! My son pooped in his sleep and didn’t wake up I was also asleep and he had the worst rash when we woke up in the morning, the poop was dry. It was horrible!

How could all these ladies in the comments leave thier child in a poopy diaper the whole night. That's just disgusting, i don't care if i wake up my baby, he's not gonna sleep in a poopy diaper and get rashes.

No. Two kids, never woke them up. Never had a poop rash. We cloth diaper. 🤷‍♀️

I wouldn't. But my baby's never had a rash that didn't clear up after the next diaper+diaper cream. But if your baby's rashes are worse, maybe change him.

I still wake my toddler up to change his diaper poop or no poop...Diaper rash is no fun!

If it’s a nap, yes. But I expect the baby to cry and let me know they’ve pooped otherwise I won’t know. At 9 months old she did it the other day and I had no idea. 🤷🏻‍♀️ so we just changed it when she woke up. If it’s a young infant then yes I’d change it.

I did changed him after 5 minutes just to make sure he finished pooping. 
I asked my husband for help and my baby didn’t even felt that we changed his diaper😃😁
