should i make an appointment ?

my period was due yesterday and didn’t show up, i’ve been having mild cramps since the 28th of april and i also have sore breast/ sensitive nipples. the cramps come and go and i notice only happen when i’m laying down? when i move around they aren’t noticeable. my boyfriend wants me to wait till next week to make a gynecologist appointment.. but i feel like i should do so now.. what do you guys think ?
