ftm - cluster feeding

my baby is 8 days old & since my milk came in 3 days ago he has been nursing (what seems like) non-stop. during the day he eats every 30 - 90 mins and at night every 1-2 hours. he eats for 10 mins minimum all the way up to 30 mins max. he often falls asleep on me and i try to wake him, he usually sleeps through anything i do attempting to wake him. so then when i lay him down to sleep he wakes up & wants fed immediately. i’m wondering how long this lasts, and if anyone has any tips or advice?
