Toothbrushing toddler help

St

Hey mommas...reaching out for some advice here as we have tried EVERYTHING we can think of or have read about brushing a stubborn toddlers teeth. We began dental/gum/mouth hygiene on baby from the first week of life. She has always been fine with it. We wiped down/brushed every morning and night and after anything that felt deemed needing brushing in her day. She opened her mouth when we asked, let us do what we needed and went about her happy little baby way. Then about 14ish-15 months all that stopped. She cries and fights and won't open her mouth. It has become a nightmare. We have tried different brushes, letting her choose one, different flavored toothpastes, no toothpastes, making her laugh, silly voices/faces, letting her brush our teeth, letting her brush her own (with help), explaining why we do it, begging, reasoning, bribing, making a game of it, giving her a mirror, singing the brushing song, having one of us brush with her while she does sonwe are doing it together, brushing her stuffed animals teeth, doing it different positions, distracting her with a video or music, having her nieces/nephews show or do it with her. Nothing has worked. We stay calm and upbeat about it with her and don't worry if the brushing isn't as thorough as I want but at some point it will start to becoke a compound issue and her ped. dentist is closed due to covid. Any advice or magic trick that has worked for others? I have run out of things I thought might work or google suggested. She is the perfect baby otherwise pretty much but it is like all her easy going is because all her normal baby stubbbornness and difficulty is aimed at this one single thing.
