Are you planning to breast or bottle feed?

Ladies I've been breastfeeding my first for 14 months now (yes granny tatas lol ) and my first is going to be 22 months when his sibling arrives who I plan to breastfeed as well. Since I wanted to breastfeed baby number 1 until he is 2 there is going to be overlap.

But I know a mummy friend of mine who breastfed her son for 6 months but when he daughter came she decided to formula feed instead.

Another one of my friend gave breastmilk to her little one until he was 12 month but she expressed all this time because baby never latched (hats off to her for being able to accomplish that must have been exhausting she constantly had the pump on).

I just want to know what other mummies will do.

Not going to lie ladies, breastfeeding can be tiring at times but I feel that I should be fair and do the same with baby number 2 if that makes sense. You do have advantages as well, night feeds are easier no need to sterilize bottles etc.

I don't know how easy it would be for working mums though, who are often opting for formula because their milk supply goes away since they are unable to breastfeeding often to keep it up.

I just wanted to let you know ladies that your child won't care at the end of the day. So if you can't do it, don't beat yourself up. It's different with every baby and every pregnancy. You may be able to do it with one child and not with the next.

I wasn't breastfed but my two siblings were.

Btw I wrote this because I saw a feud between breastfeeding and formula feeding moms in a thread and I was a bit shocked like why would people fight over that. As long as your baby and you are healthy and happy.
