Overweight breastfed baby

Yesterday, my son had his 2 month appointment but due to the coronavirus we didn’t get an appointment till 2 months and 22 days. He weighted in at a whooping 17.8 pounds!! His height was marked at 24.5 inches.

I was a little shocked since he does not look or feel that heavy. My doctor did mention that he is a bit overweight. He didn’t mention it again during our phone call but it has me worried.

He takes 3 ounces of breast milk every 2 hours and every 4/5 hours at night. Is there something I should do differently? I’m a clueless first time mom 🤷🏻‍♀️
