Need to Vent

So my son is 3 he's been in speech therapy since he was 2. He has motor coordination of speech issues so he can't find the right motor plan for the right sound to come out. Anyways the second speech therapist he had I hate her. She is super old, has no kids and expects them all to co operate with her and if they don't she then wants to label them as disabled. My son has had two speech therapists none of which ever thought he was disabled. No signs or no thoughts for autism, nothing just gets frustrated because he can't communicate his words effectively. No concerns pediatrician wise no health concerns or mental disabilities or anything. Then this old speech therapist wants to categorize my son into disabled status so he can qualify for augmentative therapy which he doesn't need. Anyways I called my mom to Vent because I was peeved. And she turns around and starts judging my son to our neighbours child who's 2 months younger saying Hunter is not at the Sam E level of intelligence as him. Of course I say well each kid learns differently and quite frankly you can't compare 1 kid to the next. Anyways she continued insulting and stereotyping my son. The fact that I have to protect myself from other stereotypes I was hoping i wouldn't have to do that with my own mother. Ugh don't need this stress being pregnant. Anyways I do not want her in my life anymore. If she can't treat my son fairly and not judge him then my mother is no different than a bully at school.
