Screeching

Does anyone else’s one year old screech and scream when you walk away? I have my baby in the play room that I can see from the kitchen, basically same room and he can see me. I can’t sweep, mop, do dishes or make his meals without constant screeching. It’s worse than nails on a chalkboard for me to hear that. I get instant anxiety and noises like that are a trigger for me.

I tell him before I walk away, as I’m walking away and talk to him while I’m doing what I need to do but he’s still having a meltdown. He’s only ok if in holding him.
