Coming for advice from y'all

Please don't jump to conclusions or be mean I will take advice but don't need hate!

My husband's family is moving to southern CA from northern CA (Bay Area). We live in super northern CA. They need someone to drive a car down for them. My husband works and doesn't want to take the time off because he's saving it for baby in December. They have helped us move 2 times and are very sweet and I am (in my mom's words) too generous sometimes. I always want to help and don't want to let people down.

I would have to do one of two things.

Drive to their current location, drive down and then take a plane or train back to my car and drive home.

OR

Take a plan to them, drive down, and take a plane back home.

Both airports are small airports/ small planes

I want to help but I am also scared of this virus. I would be staying with them and not hotels. Only stopping for gas and food (they (gov't) say eating drive through is okay and they're open) I would wear gloves for gas or have FIL pump when I'm with them. So that I'm minimal contact. When I said yes everything was still closed but CA is starting to open back up so that's also worrying me before it would be minimal people now we're looking at an increase in people out and about with restrictions lifting.

It's not necessarily essential but it also is they have to be out of the house and into the new one. They have multiple moving trucks and 3 cars to get there. They only have 4 drivers. Please give me advice! And some NICE ways to tell them I changed my mind because initially I said yes. Move is end of May.

Update: me and my husband had a talk and we're going to tell them we don't feel comfortable with either of us going. That we think it would be best if they find someone else or some other way to get their extra vehicles there. Thanks for the input. We did suggest the dolly as another option and I think that's what they're going with. Thanks for the advice ladies!!
