I used to do transcription and video captioning work for Rev.com as a freelancer. It didn’t pay much but in a good week I could make about $200. 
I also used to teach English online to Chinese students through the company VIPX. You need a bachelors degree (in any field) and be able to get a TEFL certificate, which many companies will pay for you to get, but I taught only 10 students per week and made about $500-700 per month.
