Growing up in foster care.. what was it like?

Hearing of babies and toddlers, young children living their entire lives in foster care makes me so sad. 😢
For those who grew up in foster care, what was it like?  How are you doing today?

I havent. But i have taken care of a lot of kids who have spent there whole lives in foster care. You can tell the kids who have good foster parents vs those who dont, and if the child was removed early or not. And you can figure out how the child was neglected based off how ther interact with food, and others.  its sad it really is. But ya just give them the love and attention and help they need

Well i didn't grow up in foster care but my mom is a foster care parent we have had a lot of children come to our home all different ages with different parents but my mom has taken such good care of them she has took them to every doctor, dentist, and therapist appointments she allowed them to stay in contact with their birth family and we adopted my little brother in march we had him for 13 years we first got him when he was 3 days old from the hospital and he is our family we go on family trips and everything

I’m actually a foster parent. 
Sooo I’ve had children come and go from my house over the years and I’ve seen many happy stories, but I’ve also seen many sad stories. 
For the most part, it’s sad because parents are so selfish... they like the idea of a family and can’t properly care for the child.
But I’ve seen so many parents get it together and seen so many families heal and grow over the years too! 
Don’t believe everything you hear.. their are many happy outcomes with fostercare.

Sexually and physically abused. Then the other family told me that never happened and that I was wrong.
