Two separate baby showers

Is throwing two baby showers ok? Yes, both will be free. I have issues with some of my husband family and would like to minimize the conflict. I want to enjoy myself and be around positive energy which will be with shower #1. Shower #2 will be for my husband family ( I don’t want to exclude his family). I feel horrible because I want to have one but don’t want to subject my family and friends to his cousins constant negativity. I will fill awful if I didn’t invite the 3 people who brings the drama because our child is their family too.... I’m so torn. Advice please !!!
