Diclegis and Zofran

Hey mommas. I’m looking for some advice or some answers. I’ve been nauseated for weeks now and I finally caved in for a prescription. The doctor ordered diclegis and zofran but my insurance company doesn’t cover diclegis. I’ve only read on here to stay away from zofran but no articles posted or anything. I know they’ve recently slowed the use of it but when I google anything it doesn’t say ANYTHING about birth defects. What gives? Why is everyone so against it? I need relief and don’t know what else to do. Please help. I can get zofran tonight but have to wait for the doctor to send a form asking for the diclegis to be covered for an exception. Which could take longer than I’m willing to wait. Ugh. I’m so miserable!
