5 years, my high school sweetheart. Very hard in a way to let go of such a big chunk of growing up but the way it ended wasnt the greatest and eventually I learned to accept it was over and just take the good memories and lessons and grow into a better person.

9.5 yrs. My marriage. It was hard. Took me 2 yrs to decide I was done and that the love was gone; he'd killed it. Tried counseling, but all it did was scrape the anger away so I could see it was time to end it. It's been 8 yrs since our divorce. We are cordial for the sake of our 2 kids.

No abuse or cheating or anything like that, he is a great person just when you meet someone at 17 and go through college and have to move to get a grownup job you become different people. We never would have worked

8 years and it took me awhile to get over it. Was an physical and mentally abusive relationship also, so it was more of a weight lifted off my shoulders. Extremely bitter sweet. But definetly worth the short grief.
