11 DPO test too early?

I had very little spotting it was brownish for 3 days just a tiny amount every day.. that has finished today.. tomorrow I will be 11 days past ovulation and I am wondering if a test would most likely pick it up? Im thinking the spoting could have been implantation bleeding and now that it has stopped im wondering if a test would detrct pregnancy. I bought a test and can barely wait..but am scared of the BFN:(
