Gestational diabetes

Hey all, This is my second pregnancy and with my son I had gestational diabetes (gd) so they tested me at 13 weeks for it. Sure enough, right away came up positive so I started testing myself 4 times per day today, it is not going well, my levels are high! Fixing my diet with my first took care of everything but this time it doesn’t seem to be the case. Just wondering if any other ladies here have it and have any tips? I’m 250lbs, 14 weeks pregnant. Did any of you end up on insulin?
