When did you start giving your baby food!? 👶🏽👶🏽

I’m not sure when to start giving my baby food!? the guidelines in the UK say to try and wait tell 6 months!? 👶🏽 but people keep saying do it when I want and can be ok at 4 months!!

We started my nephew at like 5 months that's when he got his first tooth with soft foods like banana,bread an mashed potatoes/grave. We wait tell he was about 7 months for other foods.

Have a look at the NHS start4life website. It has great info on knowing when baby is really ready for solids and it also has some great recipes. 
I started at 5.5 months and the website really helped me give my daughter a good balanced diet.

I put 6 months because he eats it almost everyday once a day though. But I did try a few things at 4.5 months. Doctor said it was fine but I realized I wanted to wait until he was older.

I started at 5 months but I wish I'd waited until 6. Everything went fine and my son loves solids but it was just an extra month of mess and stress. Breastmilk /formula is so much easier; I don't know I was in such a rush to start!
