Hitting/ clawing/ biting (usually faces)

Any tips on getting LO to give up on attacking people’s faces? He hits, grabs, punches, claws people eyes out and attempts to eat them as well. If we tell him no he doesn’t stop he continues, and then will cry and still do it but worse while crying.

We tried removing him from the situation when he does it and he will cry and then move on but it doesn’t really help because he just does it again when he is close.

I know it’s hard for them to understand what they are doing right now but it’s becoming a problem due to ...well...pain lol and he draws blood 😭 (sometimes he laughs while he does it and I think OMG you’re going to be a serial killer or something lmao 🤦‍♀️).
